Terms of Business

1. All our tutors are self-employed and are responsible for arranging and collecting heir own fees from clients.
    
2. Fees charged to clients are regulated by Wey Tutors, hereinafter called the agency, and are set out in the fee schedule. If tutors intend to charge rates other than those in the fee schedule they must make prior arrangements with the agency. Payments to cover travel costs are a matter for negotiation between client and tutor.  It should be noted that tutor’s fees do include an element to cover reasonable travel expenses.
    
3. Tutors undertake to make every endeavour to be punctual in their appointments and to give clients proper notice if they are unable to keep appointments.  They also undertake to provide a high level of service to clients to maintain the good name of Wey Tutors.
    
4. Tutors undertake not to enter into private arrangements with clients which would exclude the agency or to accept introductions through clients which would exclude the agency.  Any such requests should be referred to the agency to ensure that a proper contract can be established.
    
5. The agency does not accept responsibility for any information or representation concerning clients neither does it give or accept responsibility for the actions, character or conduct of clients.
    
6. The agency is not liable for any loss or expense however the same may be caused by a client following any introduction by the agency.
    
7. The tutor shall keep the agency indemnified against all claims, actions, proceedings and liabilities whatsoever by a client as a consequence of all acts or omissions committed by the tutor in breach of these terms and conditions.
    
8. Tutors are responsible for collecting the client’s fee to the agency and for remitting it to the agency at the end of each calendar month.
    

In accepting an introduction to a client from the agency tutors are deemed to have accepted these terms of business.

Tutor          : person registered with the agency
Client         :  person to whom a tutor is introduced by the agency
