  Supply Teachers - Terms of Business

1.These terms of business are between Wey Tutors ( the Agency) and the School/College ( the Client). The term ‘supply teacher’ is to be taken to mean any teacher supplied by the Agency on a  short-term or part-time basis.

2.The Client will notify the Agency immediately when a teacher , introduced bythe Agency, has been accepted for employment by the Client.

3.The fee payable to the Agency, on successful introduction of a teacher to the Client, is 10%   (ten percent) of the gross amount paid to the teacher by the Client.  The fee
may be paid at the same time as the teacher is paid or by any method agreed between the Agency and the Client.  Cheques should be made payable to Wey Tutors.

4. If a supply teacher is subsequently taken on to the permanent staff of the school/college, whether full-time or part-time, the Agency fee is payable only for the term, or part, in which the teacher was introduced by the Agency.

5. The teacher will be employed by the Client who will assume all statutory obligations of an employer in respect of the teacher and for PAYE deductions.

6. Introductions are confidential and for the benefit of the Client on this occasion only. Subsequent requests for the services of the same teacher must be made through the Agency and not directly to the teacher.

7. The Agency makes every effort to ensure that teachers on the register are suitably qualified  and fit  persons to be employed as teachers but can accept no liability of anykind for any loss or damage to property, or for any other loss, including, without prejudice to the generality of  the foregoing, loss of profits or for any injury to persons arising directly or indirectly from any act or omission of any teacher introduced by the Agency, even if such act or omission is negligent or reveals dishonesty.

8. The Client will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on employment of a teacher supplied by the Agency.
